About Our Organization

We offer programs, workshops, awards, critique sessions, open mics and related activities for members and the public. WFLF sponsors an annual student poetry writing contest, publishes an anthology biannually, and maintains the Dr. Francis P. Cassidy Writers Resource Center in Pensacola Cultural Center.

Publishing Opportunities

West Florida Literary Federation members are encouraged to send work to Andrea Walker, editor, for publication in WFLF’s monthly newsletter The Legend. WFLF also publishes the biennial anthology, Emerald Coast Review.

I want to self-publish. Now what? West Florida Literary Federation invites you to Part 2 of WFLF's Self-Publishing Webinar series presented by Tom Roberts and scheduled for March 25 at 7:00 pm. More info is available through the Events menu above.

Tickets to this webinar are $5.00 for members and $10.00 for non-members of WFLF and may be purchased on Eventbrite. All proceeds go to WFLF.
